Single Sign-On (SSO) solution for Miro is a cloud based service,with this service you will only require one set of credentials for all your web & SaaS apps including Miro. It helps you access whiteboards with different functionalities and share them with your friends, teams, students etc according to your use case. Once authorized, you'll land on the Miro board with a picture-in-picture Google Meet panel.Miro is one of the most used Whiteboard applications available. When you click a Miro link, it directs you to the authorization process. Tip: When accessing a Miro board for the first time, on the page that says “Miro wants to access your Google Account,” click Allow. Either way, you must always sign in to your Google Account to access Miro. The Miro board initiator decides if you need to sign in to your Miro account to access the Miro board or if you can access Miro as a guest. From there you can transfer to the main room.Īs a meeting participant, once the Miro board initiator shares a board with you, you get an in-meeting chat message with a link to join. You'll first land in the breakout room within the Meet tab. If you join the Miro tab through a Google Meet breakout room, when you click Pop-out, it won't directly send you back to the main room.If you don’t find Pop-out, exit chat within the Meet panel and it should appear. This only removes you from the picture-in-picture experience. To exit yourself from the picture-in-picture experience and re-open Meet in a separate tab, at the top right corner of the Meet panel, click Pop-out.To view and collaborate on the Miro board, participants can click the Miro board link you send.Tip: This'll generate an invite link in the chat within the Meet panel which you can then send to others in the call.At the bottom of the Meet panel, click Invite to collaborate. In the Miro tab, there'll be a picture-in-picture Google Meet panel.If you decline the authorization, you’re directed back to the Meet tab and the Miro board won’t launch. Tip: For first-time Miro add-on users, to let the app host the current Meet call you’re in, on the page that says “Miro wants to access your Google Account,” click Allow.After you select one of the access settings, a new Miro tab will automatically open.Private: Your in-meeting participants need to sign in or create a Miro account to access the Miro board.Guests still have to sign in to their Google Account. Anyone can view: Guests don't need to sign in to their Miro account to view the board.Anyone can comment: Guests don't need to sign in to their Miro account to add comments to the board.Anyone can edit: Guests don't need to sign in to their Miro account to edit the board. If you decide to sign in, you must first select between a new or an existing board and then select one of the access settings:
